On 6 March 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, welcomed Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Secretary of the National Innovation Board of Thailand, and accompanying party from the National Innovation Board of Thailand (NIA) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw. The purpose of their visit to Poland was to discuss possible collaboration with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in the field of ‘Startup’.

The Secretary has shared her discussion at the PAIH with the Ambassador, in which both sides have agreed to strengthen cooperation in this field through a signing of a memorandum of understanding within this year. In this regard, Ambassador Urasa and Dr. Krithpaka have exchanged views on Thailand and Poland strategies and challenges on startup. In addition, Dr. Krithpaka welcomed the Ambassador’s recommendation on the timing and format for the signing ceremony of this particular MoU in 2025.
