On 11 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organised an official ceremony to receive the “Buddha Sirindhorn Thepparatmongkolbhuwadolsanti” granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, with participation from the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand officials in Warsaw. The Buddha Sirindhorn Thepparatmongkolbhuwadolsanti will be enshrined in the hall of the Embassy.

The name “Buddha Sirindhorn Thepparatmongkolbhuwadolsanti” means the Buddha is the gem of the gods, bringing auspiciousness and peace to the land. The Buddha statue was given to provinces and hospitals nationwide, as well as to all Thai embassies, Thai consulates-general and Thai permanent missions abroad with intention to bring peace and happiness to all Thai nationals and people around the world.
