On 8 September 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, in collaboration with Team Thailand authorities, organised the Thai Festival in Warsaw 2024 at Park Granat in Warsaw. The event was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Warsaw. In her opening and welcoming remarks, the Ambassador of Thailand highlighted the objective of this event in enhancing the awareness of Thailand, Thai people and Thai culture among the Polish public, while promoting the close relations between Thailand and Poland through cultural appreciations.

The Thai festival featured an array of Thai cultural activities, including performances by a Thai dance troupe from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University in Northeastern Thailand, booths from Thai restaurants with a ‘Thai SELECT’ Certificate, and Thai entrepreneurs offering a variety of products, food, desserts, beverages, Thai massage, and Thai arts workshop was also presented. Additionally, visitors very much enjoyed the Muay Thai training corner, various VR experiences, tourism activities, and Lucky Star Draws with attractive prizes.

An exciting highlight of the Thai Festival 2024 was the ‘Muay Thai Competition: Road to Rajadamnern’. The winner of this Muaythai competition was awarded round-trip tickets to Thailand, sponsored by Rainbow Tours, and an opportunity to compete at the Rajadamnern Stadium, the world’s first Muaythai stadium. The prize also included a two-night stay in Thailand, courtesy of the Office of International Trade Promotion in Warsaw.

The Thai Festival 2024 in Warsaw event attracted over 7,000 visitors throughout the day.
