On 23 March 2024, Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, attended the closing ceremony of the Polish Muaythai IFMA Championships 2024 in Szaflary upon the invitation by Polish Muaythai Federation. This championship event is the biggest annual Muaythai competition in Poland, organised by the Polish Muaythai Federation. This year, there were more than 200 fighters from throughout Poland.
On this occasion, the Ambassador awarded Muaythai gloves as a special prize and token of honour to the winner of the ‘Polish Professional Champion’. The prize was also presented in recognition of the Polish Mauythai Federation's important role in promoting Muaythai in Poland, as well as driving Muaythai further to become a global sport.
