On 27 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, together with the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking of Thailand and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Bangkok Office, co-organised the 1st Thailand - Poland Business Forum at Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. The Forum was participated by executives from 25 Thai companies and 21 Polish companies from targeted potential sectors, which included agrifood technology, medical, green technology, IT and digital.

The Forum was divided into two parts:

(1) Part 1:

- Welcome remarks by H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, and H.E. Mr. Artur Dmochowski, Ambassador of Poland to Thailand

- Keynote Speech by H.E. M.L. Chayothid Kridakon, President of Thai Trade Representative; Presentation on ‘Incentives for Foreign Investors in Thailand’ by Mr. Wirat Tatsaringkansakul, Deputy Secretary-General of Thailand Board of Investment; Presentation by Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer / Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries ; and Presentation on ‘Investment in Poland’ by Mr. Norbert Bąk, Head of PAIH Bangkok Office.

(2) Part 2:

- Business Matching activity between Thai and Polish companies, which was the largest business matching between the two countries ever organised.

- Afternoon session - visit to  PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited by the green technology companies where they receive an update on a sustainable future with the circular economy. Meanwhile, the agrifood technology companies attended the leading international trade exhibition for F&B, foodservice technology, retail and franchise in Asia - THAIFEX-ANUGA 2024

The 1st Thailand - Poland Business Forum was organised on the occasion of the visit to Thailand by H.E. Ms. Anna Radwan-Rohrenschef, Under Secretary of State, Minitry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, for a high level meeting with H.E. Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary of the Minitry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Both sides discussed the promotion of bilateral relations and the preparation for the 3rd Political Consultation between Thailand and Poland in the coming months.
