On 14 May 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw co-organized a webinar “Thailand – Poland: New Gateway for Trade Opportunities” together with the Office of Commercial Affairs in Warsaw, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and Izba Przemysłowo-Handlowa Polska-Azja (IZBA).
The webinar provided the participants with the insights from the experts about the trade opportunities and trend for Thai – Polish business opportunities. H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland emphasized that this webinar is only the first of the activities to promote economic partnership this year which will also include business matchings in the sectors in which both countries have strong potentials.
Throughout the webinar, the panelists highlighted trade opportunities for both countries as well as the potential for both countries to serve as gateways for respective regions. In addition, the CEO of De Care shared his extensive experiences in cooperating with Thai businesses in importing food products and distributing them in Poland.
The webinar today was attended by over 50 participants from both Thai and Polish business communities and many business representatives have already expressed interests to join the business matchings later on this year.
