On 17 May 2021, H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland together with Mr. Thum Niemsakul, Director of Thai Trade Office in Warsaw, met with Mr. Robert Tomanek, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology.
Both sides discussed concrete steps to further promote economic cooperation between Thailand and Poland given the potentials for both countries to be gateways for their respective regions. The meeting also underscored potential areas of cooperation including food, agriculture, medical sector and medical devices, renewable energy and ICT which should be promoted though enhanced interactions between startups, SMEs and big corporations from both countries.
