On 5 January 2024, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, together with Mrs. Methenee Sirisawat, Director of Thai Trade Centre Warsaw, presented the "Thai SELECT" Certificate to “Chai Thai” Thai restaurant in Wrocław. The restaurant applied for the Thai SELECT Certificate and passed the criteria. Chai Thai restaurant is co-owned and operated by Thai and Polish chef/entrepreneur with chef team from Thailand.

“Thai SELECT” is a mark of certification awarded by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, to guarantee the authentic Thai taste of Thai food products and restaurants in Thailand and overseas.

On the same day, Ambassador Urasa together with Director Methenee, also visited "ZAAB", another Thai restaurant in Wrocław that is co-owned and operated by Thai chef/owner and team. ZAAB opened the second branch in Wrocław following the success of the first branch in Kołobrzeg, which received the Thai SELECT Certificate last year.

On this visit, Ambassador Urasa presented the letter of appreciation to the owners of ZAAB in sponsoring beverages ("ZAAB" Beer) for the Thai National Day reception held at the Royal Castle in Warsaw on 27 November 2023.
