On 3 December 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, together with over 50 foreign embassies in Warsaw, participated in the 16th SHOM International Charity Bazaar at ARENA COS TORWAR Narodowy, which is an annual charity event under the Honorary Patronage of H.E. Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, First Laday of Poland, and it is co-organised by the Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland in raising funds for less fortunate people through over 20 charity organisations in Poland.
At Thailand’s booth, the Embassy showcased various Thai handicraft products as well as presented Thai street food dishes and Thai beverages. On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda paid a visit to Thailand’s booth and was welcomed by Ambassador Urasa Mongkolnavin, together with the Embassy’s officials in Poland.
In the afternoon, Ambassador Urasa was invited to the stage to introduce the dance troupe from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration who performed ‘Rabam See Phak’ or Thai Dance of 4 Regions. The dance demonstrated the unique cultural diversity in different parts of Thailand - North, South, Central, and Northeast. It was a vibrant performance that received a great interest from the Polish audience who took part in the 16th SHOM International Charity Bazaar.
