On 18 May 2023, Mr. Nattapong Suwanpakdee, Chargé d’affaires a.i., participated in the 10th International Asian Congress at the Old Town Hall, city of Toruń. The event was organised under the theme "Vision, Identities, Communities."

During the event, Mr. Nattapong delivered a speech on Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model, a strategy for sustainable development and post-COVID-19 recovery in Thailand. He also presented Thailand's candidature to host "Specialised Expo 2028" in Phuket and welcomed potential cooperation and partnership between Thailand and Poland in various dimensions.

The International Asian Congress is an academic platform for Poland's government authorities, local authorities, academia and business sectors to exchange  views and experiences on several areas including political, economic, and cultural development as well as science  with Asian counterparts in Poland.
