On 9 September 2021, H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Ukraine with residence in Warsaw, met with Mr. Sergiy Shuvalov, President of Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ORCCI) together with the leading ORCCI members representing import-export, logistics and services sectors that are interested in cooperation with Thailand. On this occasion, the Ambassador shared with the meeting the plan to promote trade ties between the two countries and important initiatives of Thailand such as Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The Ambassador also invited the business representatives to partner with Thai businesses and utilize Thailand as a gateway to access to ASEAN and Asian markets.
