H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, met with Dr. Zbigniew Sebastian, President of Dolnoslaska Izba Gospodarcza (DIG) or Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the promotion of further trade and investment ties between Thai and Polish businesses. On behalf of DIG, Dr. Sebastian expressed his readiness to work closely with the Embassy to link the Polish businesses in Wroclaw and the Lower Silesian region. On this occasion, the Ambassador was given briefings by two leading companies who are the representatives of the DIG: (1) Microfood – a company specializing in food processing with innovative puffing technology that can preserve both the nutrition as well as the taste of fruits and vegetables; and (2) Laparo – a company specializing in providing complete solution for training on laparoscopic simulators which has been used by medical universities and medical training institutions in over 90 countries. The Embassy will coordinate with related governmental agencies and the private sector to promote concrete cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce as well as the two companies that expressed interests to explore business opportunities in Thailand.
