On 27 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, met with Mr. Jacek Sutryk, Mayor of Wroclaw as part of his first visit to Wroclaw. During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed with Mr. Mayor and his team on ways to enhance closer ties between Thailand and Poland this year as well as next year when the two countries will celebrate 50th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations. The areas for potential cooperation include bridging business sectors of the two countries, promotion of innovation and startups, education promotion and exchange, cooperation on research in the field of quantum physics, and people-to-people connectivity.
