On 21 February 2021 H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Poland, presided over the opening ceremony and presentation of prizes for the 1st Sepak Takraw Competition on Snow in Białka Tatrzańska, organized by the Polish Federation of Sepak Takraw.
In 2019, Mr. Pawel Podczerwińsky, established the Federation to promote Sepak Takraw sport in Poland and with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, has hosted numerous competitions, making Sepak Takraw a growing sport in Poland with over 20 clubs throughout the country.
As part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Thai-Polish Diplomatic Relations, the Federation is planning to host the 1st International Sepak Takraw Competition on Snow in 2022.
