On 1 December 2023, Ambassador Urasa Mongkolnavin hosted a dinner in honour of Mr. Wirat Manassanitwong, Inspector-General of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), the BMA executives, and the Thai dance troupe. The Inspector-General led the BMA executives to Poland to meet their counterpart, the Warsaw City Hall. The BMA also brought a Thai dance troupe to perform at the reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day and the Father’s Day of Thailand, and at the SHOM International Charity Bazaar 2023, as well as at the Pytanie na Śniadanie (live programme), a TV program of TVP2 channel to promote the Thai culture while offering a preview of the Thai cultural performance for the SHOM 2023.

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed deep appreciation to the Inspector-General and the delegation for participating in the said Embassy’s important events. The cultural performances by the BMA's dance troupe greatly impressed the Polish public. The Ambassador also took this opportunity to discuss and exchange views with the BMA executives on ways to promote people-to-people cooperation between Thailand and Poland in areas of museum management, tourism, and sports, including the possibility of closer cooperation framework between the Cities of Bangkok and Warsaw in the future.
