On 18 November 2016, Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, in his capacity as Special Representative of the Chair of the Group of 77 and China for Climate Change and alternate Head of Thai delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Frank Bainimarama, Prime Minister of Fiji during the Conference on Climate Change in Marrakech, Morocco.  Among the issues discussed were Thai-Fijian relations, Fiji’s presidency of COP23 in 2017 and request for Thailand’s support for Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Fiji in Geneva as President of the Human Rights Council for 2017.
