On 29 November 2015, Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, in coordinating with the Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM), jointly organized the SHOM International Charity Bazaar 2015 at the Marriott Hotel, Warsaw. The Bazaar is a charity event which are widely known among the local Polish. There are more than 5,000 people attended the event every year. This year, more than 50 diplomatic missions participated to raise money for 17 charity organizations such as Children’s Fantasies Fulfilled, Polish Humanitarian Action and Warsaw Hospital for Children. Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw participated in the Charity Bazaar every year. For this year, it brought variety of Thai products such as decorating lights, silk necktie, and scarf, for sales at the event. In addition, Ambassador’s Residence contributed some Thai dishes which were Pad Thai, chicken massaman curry, and Thai lemon tea, which attracted a lot of attention. The Bazaar not only helps promote Thailand in Poland but also to generate positive attitude towards Thailand among the Poles. At the event, Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, spouse of the President of Poland as the honorary patronage, also visited Thailand’s booth and showed her interests in Thai products.
