On Sunday, 29 June 2025, Mr. Nattapong Suwanpakdee, Minister-Counsellor, represented the Ambassador of Thailand to Poland at the award and closing ceremony of the 10th Football World Cup of Children from Care Homes, held at Legia Warsaw Stadium. The tournament, organised by the Hope for the Mundial (Nadzieja na Mundial) Foundation, took place from 28 to 29 June 2025 and featured youth teams from 24 countries.

During the ceremony, the Minister-Counsellor was invited to deliver remarks and joined the Thai youth team in receiving commemorative diploma and souvenirs.

Earlier, on Friday 27 June 2025, the Ambassador assigned the Minister-Counsellor to present Thai dishes freshly prepared by the Ambassador’s Residence Chef team, as well as to host a dinner to welcome and support the delegation from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCY), Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, along with the Thai youth football team representing Thailand in the competition. Notably, for this year, the Thai team consisted of both young male and female players.

The Hope for the Mundial Foundation is dedicated to supporting children and youth in care homes. The primary goal of the tournament is to provide these young individuals with a platform to showcase their talents. Beyond sportsmanship, the event fosters cross-cultural friendships, inspires dreams, and creates memorable experiences for participants from around the world.
