On 18 February 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, together with Mrs. Methenee Sirisawat, Director of Thai Trade Centre Warsaw, visited Lucky Union Foods-Euro’s surimi production site, a Thai-owned company, in Goleniów. During the visit, Ambassador and Mr. Piotr Starosta, President, together with Ms. Sunisa Launkaew, Member of Management Board, discussed about future business opportunities and challenges in Poland and Europe.

On the same day, Ambassador Urasa, together with Director Methenee, presented the "Thai SELECT" Certificate to ‘Thai Orchid’, a Thai restaurant in Kołobrzeg. Mr. Michael Zaky, Owner, received the award on behalf of the restaurant. “Thai SELECT”, certified by the Ministry of Commerce, is a prestigious mark of excellent Thai gastronomic quality and service of Thai restaurants in Thailand and overseas.

The Ambassador also took this opportunity to meet with the Thai restaurant operators, including ‘Naga Thai & Sushi’ and ‘Zaab’ restaurants, as well as the Thai communities in Szczecin, Goleniów, and Kołobrzeg in order to strengthen ties with the local Thai residents.
