On 20 September 2024, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, led the team of officers from the Royal Thai Embassy to donate essential items at the City of Warsaw's Collection Centre to help those who are affected by the flood in the Southwestern Poland. The flood was considered the worst in 27 years and led to the evacuation of thousands, particularly in the Lower Silesia and Opole regions. 

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to extend our profound sadness to the families of those who lost their lives in this disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones during this difficult time. The Embassy also stands in solidarity with Poland and wishes for a swift recovery in the impacted areas.
