On 3 December 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father day at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. On this occasion, Mr. Nattapong Suwanpakdee, Charge’ d’affaires, ad interim, delivered the opening remarks, with the presence of H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador-Designate. The event was co-organised by Team Thailand in Poland and was attended by members of the diplomatic corps in Warsaw, representatives, and friends of Thailand from public and private sectors in Poland, as well as Thai businessmen and investors and the Thai community in Poland.
The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with Thailand Post and Polish Post, also took this opportunity to launch a commemorative stamp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Poland. On this occasion, Mr. Krzysztof Górski, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Philately of the Polish Post, gave a brief presentation on the background of the success of the project, one of the many of which reflected the close relationship between the two countries.
