On 11 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, chaired the meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW) at the Thai Residence. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Vietnam, and the Chargés d’Affaires of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines to Poland.

The Committee discussed the activity plan for the six-month period during Thailand’s ACW Chairmanship (July–December 2025), with a particular focus on the ASEAN Day event on 8 August 2025. The members also exchanged views on recent important political and economic developments in Poland.

The ASEAN Committee in Warsaw is comprised of the Ambassadors of the five ASEAN member states to Poland: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, who rotate their chairmanship every six months.
