On 13 December 2021, H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan met with Dr. Adam Marszałek, President of Asia Pacific Society and the organizer of the International Asian Congress. Both sides discussed participation and contribution of Thailand as a special guest of honour for the 9th International Asian Congress to be held in Torun between 18 – 20 May 2022. As one of the most prestigious events with particular focus on Asia in Poland, the Congress will be an important opportunity to promote even a closer tie between Thailand and Poland, especially in the areas of trade, investment, tourism and culture and will form an integral part of the celebration for the 50th Anniversary of Thai – Polish diplomatic relations next year.
