Dear 'Friends of Thailand' in Poland and Ukraine, 

The 5th December 2021 is an important and auspicious occasion to the Thais as it is the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the Thai National Day, and Thai Father's Day.  December is also a festive time for celebration. So, this truly is the time for the Thais to express their well-wishes and love with their families, both in the country and around the world. Moreover, it is also a good opportunity to embrace good wishes to our extended family: YOU as our 'Friends of Thailand'. 

For the past year, I have been travelling quite extensively in Poland and to Ukraine, when opportunity arises. I have met with many 'Friends of Thailand', who hold Thailand very close to their hearts. Many of you have supported Thailand in various activities – promoting Thai food, Thai sports, Thai tourism, trade & investment cooperation, etc. As the Ambassador of Thailand to both countries, I am truly grateful for what you have done over the years. 

Next year will mark very special occasions for our diplomatic relations – the 50th Anniversary between Thailand-Poland, and 30th Anniversary between Thailand-Ukraine. The Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, together with our partners, is preparing a range of activities throughout the year. Some of you will play a direct role in our planned activities but all of you will be an important part of our commemoration and celebration. 

I, once again, would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you for all your support and I wish you and your family all the very best, with good health, love and prosperity. The Embassy and I look forward to seeing and working closely with you during our celebration next year and the years to come.
