On 12 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, together with Mr. Thum Niemsakul, Director of Thai Trade Center in Warsaw met with H.E. Mr. Jerzy Drożdż, Ambassador and Director of Foreign Relations Departement of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza) and Ms. Katarzyna Kaniewska, an officer in charge of Thailand.

Ambassadir Drożdż underscored close ties between the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy as well as the Thai Trade Center and expressed his willingess to support the works and activities of the Embassy and the Thai Trade Center. Both sides discussed further promotion of economic cooperation between the two countries by focusing on 4 priority areas including: (1) food; (2) medical technology/devices and services; (3) cosmetics and health care products; and (4) startups cooperation. Both sides considered relevant activites for this year as well as for next year when both countries will celebrate 50th Anniversay of diplomatic relations including a webinar, sector-specific business matching and, when the situation permits, an exchange of business delegation.
