On 8 August 2024, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, together with Ambassadors of ASEAN countries in Poland -- Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam -- participated in the Luncheon to celebrate the ASEAN Day, which was organised by H.E. Ambassador of Malaysia to Poland, as the current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW) at the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel.

The event had H.E. Ms. Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, as Guest of Honour. Invited guests were the Apostolic Nuncio to Poland, as the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Poland, and Ambassador of Japan to Poland, as well as  Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Poland with Residence in Berlin. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland comprised Ms. Joanna Dopierała-Konkołowicz, Deputy Director of the Asia-Pacific Department, and a team of officers from the Department.

This year is the 57th Annivesary of the Establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
