On 26 September 2025, H.E. Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Ms. Aleksandra Uznańska-Wiśniewska, Member of Parliament and Vice-Chair of the Polish–Thai Parliamentary Friendship Group, who is of Thai–Polish heritage; Mr. Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, her spouse and Polish astronaut; and Mrs. Piengjai Wiśniewska, her mother and successful businesswoman from Łódź, at the Ambassador’s Residence in Warsaw.

The dinner was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with discussions covering various topics, including ways to strengthen Thai–Polish relations within the framework of the Polish-Thai Parliamentary Friendship Group; preparations for the 1st Thailand–Poland Strategic Dialogue, which will be co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, during his visit to Thailand in December this year; the resumption of a direct flight between Thailand and Poland; and enhanced visa facilitation for Thai nationals.

On this occasion, Ambassador Urasa extended congratulations to Mr. Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, Poland’s astronaut, on the success of his participation in the Axiom Mission 4 spaceflight in June 2025.
