On 8 March 2018, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Poland attended a farewell reception in honour of H.E. Mr. Shigeo Matsutomi, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Poland, and spouse on the occasion of completion of his duty. The reception was hosted by Apostolic Nuncio Salvatore Pennacchio, in his capacity as the Dean of Diplomatic Corps at Apostolic Nunciature. Among invited guests were Ambassadors and Heads of Mission of International Organizations in Warsaw. In addition, as the 8^th of March was also widely known as the International Women’s Day, Apostolic Nuncio further mentioned in his speech to admire the significant role of women and how impressive female Ambassadors perform in the diplomatic circle. After doing so, Apostolic Nuncio presented a rose as a congratulatory token to every female Ambassador and representative from Diplomatic Corps participating in the event.
