On 26 September 2017, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of Thailand met with Professor dr hab. Andrzej Lesicki, Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, to present financial support for the Institute of Linguistics.  Such financial support is dedicated to research and activities in support of the Thai language program at the Institute and contributes to the promotion of the Thai-Polish relations, as well as raises awareness about Thailand and mutual cooperation on education.
