On 28 July 2017, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand presided over the Buddhist merit making ceremony at the Embassy in celebration of the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.  The Embassy invited 5 monks from Wat Buddhavihara Temple in Berlin. Over 30 participants who are officials and staff of the Embassy, Thai community and their families attended the ceremony.
