Nataya Burapa Puppet Group won “Grand Prix” Award in the World Puppet Carnival 2016 which was held at the Arlekin Theatre in Lodz, Poland, on 26-30 September 2016 among the competitors from 36 countries. The show titled “The First Human in the World” was performed by the young puppeteers, aged between 7-25 years. Besides, they participated in the Puppet’s Parade and performed outdoor at the Manufactura Market Square, which was very impressive and received attention from the audience. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland hosted lunch for the puppet Group at the Ambassador’s Residence on 29 September 2016 of which H.E. Mr. Chaisiri Anaman, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs who led the the delegation of Muay Thai Roadshow in Poland also participated to met with the Group. Then, on 30 September 2016, Ambassador Manasvi went to cheer and support them at the Award Handing Ceremony  and therefore had a chance to congratulate them on their success. Apart from the Grand Prize, the young puppeteers also won Aspiring Future Puppeteers Award.
