The Polish-Thai Senate Group consisting of Sen. Waldemar Kraska, Sen. Leszek Czarnobaj, Sen. Adam Bielan and Sen. Magareta Budner arrived in Bangkok on 8 August 2016 by the invitation of Thailand-Poland Parliamentarians Friendship Group. They were well received at the Suvannabhumi Airport by Kunying Songsuda Yodmani, Chairperson of Thailand-Poland Parliamentarians Friendship Group and the host of welcoming dinner for them on that day. Invited guests for the dinner included Mr. Surachai Liengboonlertchai, First Vice-President of National Legislative Assembly. The Polish-Thai Senator Group paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, President of National Legislative Assembly on 9 August 2016 and H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 10 August 2016. Apart from the official calls and meetings, they had an opportunity to visit some important historical places both in Bangkok and nearby provinces.
