Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland met with the Director and visited the Marie Sklodowska - Curie Museum

On 1 August 2019, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland, met with Mr. Slawomir Paszkiet, Director of Marie Sklodowska – Curie Museum. Mr. Paszkiet welcomed Ambassador to the Museum and gave a briefing and also showed her the Museum. The Museum is the place where Marie Sklodowska – Curie used to live in one period of her life. Maria Curie is a famous person who has made a great reputation in science and physics for Poland by receiving the Nobel Prize twice in different fields (Physics and Chemistry). Mr. Paszkiet lead Ambassador Sansanee to see the special flower that has a special name “Clematis Marie Sklodowska – Curie” on the balcony of the Museum as well as offering the Museum as one of the place in the program of visit should the Thai delegation is interested. He will be pleased to arrange a briefing and welcome the delegation to raise the awareness of the ingenuity of Mrs. Maria Sklodowska – Curie to the world and to history of Poland. In addition to the ingenuity of Mrs. Maria Curie, it appears that in her family there are five family members that won the Nobel Prize which is considered the most Nobel Prize winners in the World that are from the same family.
