On 25 April 2019 H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland, attended the ANZAC Day (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Plac Piłsudskiego in Warsaw by the invitation of H.E. Mr. Paul Wojciechowski, Ambassador of Australia to Poland and H.E. Ms. Mary Thurston, Ambassador of New Zealand to Poland. The ceremony was attended by many high level guests from difference field and by Ambassadors. Mr. Maciej Lang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland was a guest of honor leading the group to laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Ambassador Sansanee has laid Thai wreath and signed a remembrance book to show reverence and remembrance for those who have lost their lives. On 25 April of each year is the ANZAC Day, which is considered an important National Day of Australia and New Zealand to remember those who lost their lives in war / in conflict / in peacekeeping duties. In the beginning, the ANZAC Day was to honor and commemorate the sacrifice of the ANZAC members who served in the Gallipoli Campaign in the First World War (1914 - 1918)
