  • The Embassy DO NOT have the authority to issue Thailand Pass at tp.consular.go.th. Please kindly read all the announcement and instructions provided in the website carefuly.
  • To be safe, applicants should apply at least 7 days before departure date, although it may take as fast as 2 - 3 days to process the Thailand Pass.

1. UPDATED Requirement for Entering Thailand, from 1 June 2022.

🔶 Foreign nationals
  • Register on Thailand Pass
  • Attach documents, as follows:
    • Passport
    • Certificate of vaccination or if unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated, RT-PCR / Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure
    • Proof of Medical Treatments Coverage (minimum coverage 10,000 USD)
  • Receive Thailand Pass QR Code within 1-2 hours
  • Airlines and Disease Control Officers will check your documents
🔶 Thai nationals
  • Thailand Pass not required
  • Enter Thailand without quarantine nor COVID-19 test upon arrival
  • Must present a certificate of vaccination or if unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated, an RT-PCR / Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure
  • Can enter Thailand via every border checkpoint (for land travel)


*Fully vaccinated = those who have received all required doses of a vaccine registered with the Thai FDA, or approved by WHO or Thai Ministry of Public Health, no less than 14 days before departure. (Accepted vaccines: Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sputnik). 



  • Thailand Pass system will be adopted on 1 November 2021 onward at tp.consular.go.th, the Embassy will no longer be the issuer of the document, therefore please read all the instructions carefully and correctly attach all the neccessary documents required. The Embassy will not be able to assist and check any mistakes on the applicants' side.
    • Health insurance policy must clearly state coverage of medical treatment of USD 10,000 or equivalent. Travellers are advised to purchase their health insurance which meets Thailand's entry criteria here: http://covid19.tgia.org/
    • Vaccine Certificate All vaccine certificate must be attached as either jpg, jpeg, or png image file into the Thailand Pass system. If applicant upload the QR code of the EU vaccine certificate, it must be clear image file. It is advised that applicant should take a screenshot of the QR code from a digital file or vaccine certificate application, crop them, and upload them. Blurred or unclear QR code may not pass the autoapproval system and application could be processed manually instead. Further information about autoapproval can be found HERE.
