On 5 December 2017 at 18.30 hrs. H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presided over a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Thailand’s Father’s Day at Regent Warsaw Hotel.  Attending the reception were Dr. Tanongsak Sahussarungsi, Spouse of Ambassador, officials and staff of the Embassy and Team Thailand, as well as senators, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, members of diplomatic corps, representatives of various agencies, private and academic sectors, and Thai community and family, a total of approximately 280 people.  Ambassador’s speech also indicated that 5 December is chosen as the “World Soil Day” by the United Nations and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s dedicated work relating to the development of soil resources, particularly agricultural development, which is of significant benefit.
