On 1 June 2018, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Bonggot Anuroj, Deputy Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI) of Thailand. The objective of this visit was to discuss with BOI on the possible cooperation and joint activities in order to attract the Polish private sector to consider Thailand as a potential destination for Polish investment outside EU, following Economic Diplomacy policy which aims to promote visibility of Poland in the global market through the projects such as GO China, GO India and GO ASEAN, as the latest one. Meanwhile, it is promising for Thai investors who look for overseas markets and investment to consider Poland as a production base and gateway to Europe, owing to the potentials and strategic location of Poland in the heart of Europe.
