On 25 April 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Polish Institute for International Affairs (PISM) co-organized a seminar on “ASEAN-EU: Opportunities and Challenges”. The seminar drew a full-house audience from the diplomatic community, the academic circles and private sectors. The seminar panelists included H.E. Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, former Foreign Minister of Thailand and former Secretary-General of ASEAN, H.E. Mrs. Katarzyna Kacperczyk, Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Bogdan Goralczyk, and Mr. Patryk Kugiel from PISM as a moderator.

On the same day, Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a welcoming luncheon for H.E. Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, joined by the Ambassadors of ASEAN and former Polish Ambassadors to Thailand, the Deputy Director of Asia-Pacific Department and the Managing Director of a Thai company which invests and operates in Poland.
