On 23 – 26 March 2016, Thai badminton team led by Mr. Tesana Panvisavas, head coach, competed at Yonex Polish Open 2016 at Arena Ursynow, Warsaw. Four Thai players namely, Mr. Dechapol Puavaranukroh, Mr. Kittinupong Kedren, Ms. Puttita Supajirakul and Ms. Sapsiree Taerattanachai, were among 295 players from around the world joining this competition. Ms. Supajirakul and Ms. Taerattanachai successfully won women's doubles while Mr. Puavaranukroh and Mr. Kedren managed to win silver medals in men's doubles. The Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw and the Thai community went to give support during competition.
