On 30 September 2015, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand had a meeting with Professor Ryszard Debicki, Vice-Rector of the Marii Curie-Sklodowskiej University during which they underscored the importance of forging Thai-Polish ties through higher education, including through ongoing cooperation between the University and universities in Thailand, such as Chiang Mai University, Kasetsart University and Chulalongkorn University in science and technology, innovation, industrial management and economics.  They also explored ways to strengthen cooperation in the areas of educational training and student exchange programs at the doctoral level.
