On 23 July 2015, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr. Piotr Switalski, Director of Asia and the Pacific Region Department, which was also attended by Ambassadors and charge d’ affaires of ASEAN member states, Mr. Jerzy Drozdz, Director of International Relations Office, Polish Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Sathaworn Subsoontorn, Minister-Counsellor, Commercial Affairs, Office of Commercial Affairs. During the luncheon, the ASEAN side had the opportunity to brief on the work of the ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW), Malaysia’s chairmanship of ASEAN 2015, ASEAN-EU relations and the political and economic issues of common interests. They expressed readiness to further enhance cooperation through bilateral and multilateral frameworks between ASEAN member states and Poland with a view to promote stronger and more visible ties between them.
