On 21 May 2015, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand, attended the opening session of the 2^nd International Asian Congress in Torun which was organized by Asia Pacific Society, an independent organization establishing to propagate knowledge about Asia and Pacific through publication of academic works and organizing seminars. At the Congress, it was attended by more than 300 participants from diplomatic corps, such as Ambassadors of Kazakhstan, India, Indonesia, and Thailand, and Charge d’ Affaires of China and Japan, high-level officers of Torun and academic experts.

On this occasion, Ambassador stressed the importance of Asia, Thailand’s preparation to enter the ASEAN Community by the end of 2015, its cooperation with other countries in addressing human trafficking and disaster management, and sharpening Poland’s relations with Asian countries.
