On 20 May 2015, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted the Thai Day in Torun which was co-organized with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and Asia Pacific Society in Torun. The event was warmly attended by group of Friends of Thailand and local people who were interested to learn more about Thailand.

On this occasion, Ambassador Srisodapol delivered his opening remarks reiterated the importance of cultures in strengthening the people-to-people contact between Thailand and Poland. He also mentioned that Thailand and Poland had had a longstanding relations for more than 100 years since the King Rama V of Thailand visited Poland in 1897. Until now, Thailand-Poland Diplomatic Relations had been established for more than 40 years.
