On 13 April 2015 H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a festive celebration on the occasion of Thai New Year or “Songkran” at his residence. Guests who are representatives from Thai community in Poland and Friends of Thailand were invited to take part in traditional ceremony which included pouring holy water onto the Buddha image and paying respect to elders and respectful persons by pouring holy water over their hands.
