On 12 January 2015 Mr. Paitoon Mahapannaporn, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., participated in an orientation for first year students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw. The event took place at Senat Hall in the University’s Kazimierzowski Palace with an aim to familiarize the students with diplomatic corps and enable them to learn about different countries.

In his remarks, Mr. Mahapannaporn mentioned the current political situation in Thailand, ASEAN Community, bilateral relations between Thailand and Poland as well as attractive reasons for travelling to Thailand. In the end, the students have an opportunity to taste various oriental food including traditional Thai snacks provided by the Royal Thai Embassy.
