On 23 September 2014, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Thai Ambassador to Poland, and his spouse, hosted a luncheon in honor of Asst.Prof. Puttachart Potibal, Dean of Faculty of Humanities, Prof. Thanwaporn Sereechaikul, Head of Department of Thai Language, and Mr. Thongrob Ruenbanthoeng, professor at Department of Literature, Kasetsart University, during their visit to Poland on  22 – 27 September. It was also an honour that Prof. Jacek Witkos, Vice-Rector and Prof.Dr.Piort Wierzchon, Director, Faculty of Modern Languages and Literature, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, presented at luncheon.

The delegation of Kasetsart University was invited by Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw to fulfill its project in supporting Thai studies in Poland including studying the possibilities and meeting with the representatives of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan to open Department of Thai Study at the University. As well, it is to support the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the two Universities to establish the professors and students exchange programme in the future.
