On 26 -27 July 2014, a Thai youth football team from Mercy Centre in Thailand participated in the 2nd Football World Cup of Children from Care Homes at Legia Stadium, Warsaw, organized by Nadzieja na Mundial (Hope for Mundial) Association. 

On this occassion, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand together with the Royal Thai Embassy's officers went to the Stadium in order to give support to the team, and on 28 July 2014 the Ambassador hosted dinner for the team at his Residence.
