When flourishing Spring has begun in Poland, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand in Warsaw, invited a Thai band, called "The Sound of Siam" to play a jazz concert in a country where music has been deeply rooted in the people's heart. It was held on 22 April 2017 at the Stanislavian in the garden of the Lazienki Palace, where His Majesty King Chulalongkorn of Thailand had visited and stayed in 1897.
"The Sound of Siam", led by Koh Mr. Saxman, the most wellknown Saxophonist in Thailand, and together with several foremost Thai musicians, has impressed the audience by showcasing how western musical instruments and Thai traditional musical instruments can be combined beautifully and harmoniously. Incredibly, they marvelously communicated to the guests of the charming stories of gentle yet exciting Thailand and her people through various kinds of Thai songs, including the compositions of His Mฟjesty the King Bhumibol of Thailand. The guests were highly impressed and deeply touched by the magical rhythm and musical creativity where jazz and Thai culture blended in a brilliant spiritual way.
