On 6 March 2014, Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Thai Ambassador to Poland, hosted the Asia-Pacific Group Luncheon Meeting at the Thai Residence.  Ambassadors and representatives from 12 countries participated in the said event. It was an honour that Dr. Irena Lipowicz, Human Rights Defender of Poland, accepted the invitation as the guest of honour. With this opportunity, Dr. Lipowicz shared her opinions with the Group about her roles and responsibilities as an ombudsman, as well as exchanging her views on Poland’ experiences in protecting and promoting human rights and her past experiences in helping citizens who were in trouble as a result of the Government’s actions. On the same occasion, Ambassador bided farewell to Ambasador of Iran and of Republic of Korea who will soon finish their terms in Poland.
