H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland and Dr. Tanongsak Sahussarungsi, Spouse, attended the activities of the Department of Diplomatic Affairs of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs which led the Head of the Foreign Diplomatic Corps in Poland to visit Pomerania Province in Gdansk during 23 – 25 November 2018 in order to see the important work and activities and build a network with the local authorities. Mr. Dariusz Drelich, Governor of Pomeranian welcomed the Foreign Ambassadors seated in Warsaw and their spouses to attend the briefing and visit various interesting places such as visiting the Port Authority of Gdansk Port, National Maritime Museum, which contains the “Boats of People of the World” exhibition with a fruits selling boat exhibition from Thailand. The delegation also attend the summary briefing of the Academy of Fine Arts, visit to Museum of Amber, Museum of 2nd World War. In the year 2019 Poland will host the commemoration of the 2nd World War on 1 September 2019 in Warsaw. In this regards, Gdansk (During the World War the city was name Danzig) was the city where German first attack happened in the 2nd World War at the Westerplatte Peninsula and at the Polish Port Office in Gdansk at the same time. The delegation of Ambassadors also visited the Lotos refinery and Malbork Castle and more.
